• Solar hot water heating system performance can vary depending on sunshine hours. 75% system performance estimate is used in this example as an indication of performance. This is based on research that shows up to 75% of a home’s hot water needs can be produced by a solar hot water heating system (source - Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority).
• Calculated on a five year payment term.
• The default example (3-4 people) uses a 180L system at a cost of $5580.

• Standard installation of the system is included in the price. Systems can be retrofitted to existing hot water cylinders provided they meet certain standards. Any water cylinder upgrade required is not included in this offer price.

• A government grant of $1000 dollars is available for all package systems when used for a retrofit to an existing tank provided the tank being retrofitted to has similar characteristics to the tank modelled in the packaged system (i.e. the package system tank must be similar in size to your existing tank. Three size systems are available 135L, 180L 250L). Our consultant will work out you grant eligibility when they visit.
